About Us...

We are excited to share with you a project that is very special and near to our hearts. Located in the country, beyond the hustle and bustle of Perrysburg, Ohio is a small place called ToGatherflr (Farm Land Retreat). Peace and serenity are the word of the day here - nothing more... nothing less.

In early 2005 we began talking about Sharon’s vision for a beloved part of her farm that was in desperate need of renovation. She felt that this land wanted to have a purpose other than being a rental property. So we put our heads together and decided to go for it and here we are! ToGather started out in 1960 as a beauty shop and after that became a rental property. Now, it’s being transformed into a place where folks can come to heal, learn and grow.

ToGather houses a Learning Center that is available for classes, meetings, lectures, study groups, and other events. There are ideas for fun weekend activities like alternative healing events, craft shows, yard sales and more!

Farm Land Retreat is an acre of land which will be developed into a peaceful area for things like meditation and Tai Chi. A restful spot where one can be in tune with nature, soak up warm sunrays, and take a little time from the fast pace of life to pause and say, “aaaaaah”.

ToGather also has a gift shop stocked with a variety of handcrafted items and goodies available for purchase.

ToGatherflr (Farm Land Retreat) is intended to provide an atmosphere to calm and soothe the body, mind and spirit.

Sharon Burkhardt Williams

Sharon moved to the historic Burkhardt farm at the age of five years with her parents, Sylvester and Margaret (Moore) Burkhardt in 1954. This land has been in the family for 200 years or more. She feels it's her duty to keep it in the family name for her lifetime. Sharon left the farm in 1970 and returned in 2000 to reside on the homestead. Sharon has always felt a special attachment to this land and still sees it as sacred with more purpose than just crop farming. So, with the help of Rex and Tracy Swartz, the project began and some four years later, with the help of a lot of wonderful people, ToGatherflr has opened its doors. She is looking forward to a long and successful association with Tracy Swartz and with her nieces, Vicki Burkhardt and Laurie Burkhardt Garman.

Sharon is a Reiki Master-Teacher, a teacher of metaphysics, and a reader. Sharon is available for private readings, Reiki training, Reiki treatments, metaphysical classes (group or private), and house parties (hostess' reading is free).

She is also a non-denominational minister and Certified (funeral) Celebrant. Every life is worth remembering. Services can be religious or no-religious and are designed to reflect the personality, attributes, and lifestyle of the deceased. Tracy Swartz

Tracy (a.k.a. The Domestic Gourdess) is an eclectic and creative gal who plays with Lagenaria siceraria cultivars, loves to write, and has been called an spiritual instigator. When Sharon shared her vision, Tracy could see the need that ToGather would fulfill. She was (and still is) honored and humbled to be part of it's unfolding. Please be aware that reading this blog has been known to cause giggles, laughter, and uncontrollable spitting of beverages. Head scratching and deep ponderings have also been reported. If any of these symptoms occur, please splash your face with cold water (preferably chilled with ice cubes) and shake your head three times. Any cloudiness or giddiness you may experience should dissipate within a few minutes.

Laurie Burkhardt-Garman

Laurie has lived close to the farmstead almost her whole life. She, at the age of 3, told her parents of seeing shadows move on the walls. Her parents told her it was her imagination and bought her glasses. Now with a sense of humor, we know it was spirits and angels. Laurie has always thought out of the box and questioned things as to wondering the "why's" of things happening. With this curious nature and blind faith of her understanding, her journey began with alot of research into metaphysics. In 1998 Laurie along with Sharon Burkhardt finished the course Metaphysics level 1, later level 2 and so on. She redeveloped her connection with the Angels through alot of personal challenges. She was able to take this into working with woman at a treatment center. "It's about helping people heal at a deeper level and supporting them as they grow into themselves by loving them through their process." Laurie started to trust the guidance she was receiving. In 2007, her travels took her to Laguna Beach California to study with nationally known Doreen Virtue,PhD. She then became an ANGEL THERAPY PRACTITIONER^®. In 2008 she followed her guidance and went to Kona, Hawaii to receive her Certification of ANGEL THERAPY^® Mediumship from Doreen Virtue. Laurie now feels it is time to go to the next level by teaching others what has been shared with her. She intertwines music and dance along with humor and education with a hands on approach.

Vicki S. Burkhardt, N.D.

Vicki grew up just down the road from her grandparents farm. They were her teachers about life - from moral issues to health and economics, they were people of their word. Their handshake was as good any written contract. In a log cabin that used to stand on the farm (built in 1810) were rooms and cabinets of the remedies, herbs, & salves that her Great Grandfather "Doc" Burkhardt, and his Father from Germany, used to help the neighbors and their livestock 100 years prior. The natural way was their way of life.

Vicki's path through life took her to Louisiana where she has pursued her love of natural healing taught to her by her grandparents. During these years of being "away", She would read every book she can get her hands on that had anything about herbs and alternative methods of helping yourself and others. "My family knew that one day I would return to the farm. Not to be a farmer, but to help people." says Vicki. Along with the support and unconditional love from her Aunt Sharon and her sister Laurie, whom both still homestead on that very farm that influenced her youth, her vision and life purpose is clearer than she could have ever imagined. "This is MY VISION!" Vicki says, "To carry on the family tradition of educating and helping others."
